¡Welcome to Kallarisunchis!
About us
We are a Christian, non-profit, civil association recognized by the Peruvian government as an organization that provides social assistance and is eligible to receive donations. We use Christian principles to combat poverty and social and economic injustice in our country.
We serve the rural and urban poor in and around the city of Cusco, Peru. Our dream is to someday expand to reach all of Peru. We desire to see lives changed, families strengthened and communities transformed, all centered on the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Our Causes

Microfinance
Kallarisunchis seeks to empower economically poor families in order to improve their family income so that they can experience greater financial freedom.

Savings
The savings program helps people administer their savings, solve problems, pray and learn to draw nearer to God.

Adults
Kallpachacuy is a Quechua word that means “Strength”. In Kallarisunchis it is the name of a group of older adults who come together to strengthen and support each other. Many come to the group living in poverty, often extreme poverty. Many are lonely and abandoned by their families.

Children
This program started in 2016 to address the needs of children who were basically living on the streets because their parents work outside the home and leave them alone all day. It has expanded to work with an at-risk group of children in several rural communities.
Our mission
We are a Christian organization whose mission is to follow the model of Jesus Christ, working with the most vulnerable to help them reach their full potential.
Our vision
We desire to see the most vulnerable individuals, families and communities transformed by the power of Jesus Christ so that they develop holistically with dignity, hope and solidarity.
Our values
- We are Christians.
- We love people.
- We are good administrators.
- We are committed to people’s economic growth and holistic development.

Our History
Kallarisunchis was founded in 1999 through the initiative of a local church, originally only giving loans. In 2016, the organization went through a complete restructuring with the help of a group of professionals and missionaries. New strategies of development were applied as well as the implementation of new programs that focused on the spiritual enrichment of the whole person. Throughout the years, the Lord has opened the doors for Kallarisunchis to offer more integrated programs and services in association with many local churches and communities.
Presently, and thanks to the support of PEER Servants and different local and national volunteers, our programs have been focused on meeting very specific needs in defined areas and sectors of the population. However, we continuously strive to become more effective in meeting the needs of those we serve.
Our dream is that Kallarisunchis continues to grow so that the services we provide can reach the most vulnerable population in all of Peru. Our hope is that all those we serve can reach their full potential and have the quality of life that God desires for them.
